Key responsibilities:

As Coordinator Accounting you are responsible for:  

  • Being the linking pin between the team and our Quality Assurance department.
  • Develop and coach Junior Accounting Officers.
  • Organize workshops on topics that needs to be improved.
  • Review of annual reports.
  • Improve the quality of annual reports.
  • Ensure uniformity in accounting and processes.
  • Responsible for long-term planning and portfolio allocation.
  • Generate and administer accounting procedures and ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with local legislation and policies of the client.
  • Sparring partner for the DCS, Teamleader and team members.

Your Profile:

  • You dispose a financial-administrative degree (ACCA, CPA, ACA or a Bachelor’s degree SPD, HEAO AA, HEAO BE) or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience.
  • You dispose of excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles including Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
  • You dispose of preferably a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
  • You dispose of thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles.
  • You dispose of good knowledge and experience in the use of Caseware and Dynamics.
  • Experience in training and coaching colleagues.
  • Excellent business English written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good communication skills coupled with the ability to liaise with people internationally, through spoken and written channels and at all levels and Strong Relationship Management skills in an international environment.
