Job Purpose:

The Talent Development Specialist st is part of the Global Talent Development team responsible for the delivery of TMF Group’s Learning Curriculum. The role will be delivering a range of curriculum to meet the needs of the organisation with a focus on ‘New Joiners and Staff Inductions’. As well as global delivery of curriculum, the Talent Development Manager will also act as regional relationship and delivery support to a designated geography for the entire Talent Development team.  

Key Responsibilities:

Must be able to:

  • Work with the Senior Talent Development Manager to identify future learning and development interventions that supports engagement of new employees; whilst ensuring curriculum can be globally scalable.
  • Support strategy delivery by working with business to create global best practice, which can be embedded by learning.
  • Deliver and manage the delivery of comprehensive and engaging curriculum globally, either in person or using a virtual delivery platform.
  • Provide evidence of impact of delivered learning on the business by ensuring all learning is evaluated and effective.
  • Plan and Campaign learning opportunities effectively across their designated region and within the Talent Development team.
  • Attend team meetings / conferences as and when required.
  • Provide evidence of learning hours delivered to management.
  • Facilitate with others on team with delivery of additional programmes.as and when required.
  • Drive minimal attendance targets applied to ‘live’ courses.
  • Manage in person training events with full logistical coordination.
  • Has self–awareness and understands the impact they may have on others
  • Through sound communication skills, is able to influence ‘Management’ and ‘Executive’ level colleagues, both internally and externally.
  • Is able to tactfully deal with situations should they arise in the immediate team.
  • Engages and builds credibility with internally influential individuals.
  • Can communicate (written/verbal) fluently in English and Spanish.

Ideally would also:

  • Speak an additional language (Portuguese).
  • Support Global Talent Development in assigned projects, as requested.

  • Able to focus on the big picture and on details.
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through- with passion for high quality work, drive to get things done etc.

     

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience in developing and handling training materials or former administrative rolls around e-platforms would be considered as an advantage.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to develop reports.
