The Junior Financial Controller is part of the Corporate Accounting and Tax (CAT) team. The CAT department is responsible for the monthly consolidation of the Group financials, the review of the monthly performance against budget and previous periods, the preparation of the Group Annual Accounts, Group budget, Quarterly reporting to the banks and monthly internal reporting. The department consists of 7 financial controllers and 2 supervisors.

Fulltime - Rotterdam

Key responsibilities of the department:

  • Monthly Management reporting for the board and shareholders of the TMF Group
  • Annual Financial statements
  • Quarterly external reporting
  • Yearly Group budget
  • Quarterly forecasting
  • Coordinate the audit and Group Annual Accounts
  • Monitoring Financial controls
  • Improving performance measurement and Business information
  • Specific analysis and reporting

Technical skills / Job Specific skills / Professional Qualifications

  • University working and thinking level
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience (in audit or within an international company)
  • Thorough and organized with eye for details
  • Be able to work under time pressure and flexibility in terms of workload is necessary at times
  • Proactive – takes responsibility – completes tasks – Result-oriented
  • IFRS knowledge
  • Team player, be able to work with different kinds of people
  • Customer oriented - Good business sense
  • Develops plans which deliver the objectives set for the team
  • Stable individual who copes well with organizational change and maintains a positive contribution under stress and pressure
