Job Purpose

The main purpose of this role is on the clients’ accounting with the primary focus on schemes accounting function.


Reporting to:

Pension Scheme Accounting Manager


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Recording the clients’ portfolio transactions mainly cash transactions, investment movements, trustee fees, gains/losses on fair value movements, disposals and foreign exchange;
  • Prepare the clients’ accounting and occasionally review the clients’ accounting prepared by the junior accountants;
  • Ensure that any payments effected by the investment banks are in line with the Trustee’s instructions;
  • Collaborate closely with the investment banks for any investment documentation or clarifications on trades and other transactions;
  • Drafting the Scheme’s management accounts;
  • Assisting in assessing the fair value of the investments and collecting any other information required for the preparation of the notes to the schemes financial statements;
  • Collaborating closely with the auditors.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Accounting;
  • Great knowledge of Financial Assets and Microsoft Excel;
  • Proven record of accomplishing goals in timely manner;
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work within a team and connect with clients and colleagues at all levels;
  • Self-motivated with a structured and driven approach to work.
