Quality Assurance Manager

Quality Assurance is a horizontal support function working with the management and with the organization to achieve the objectives of quality, risk management and legal and regulatory compliance of the organization (except AML-KYC). The Quality Assurance Manager monitors both internal and external developments and agrees a work-plan with the management. She/he manages the department and liaises with the management and the rest of the organization to execute the work-plan as agreed with the management.

The Quality Assurance objectives are achieved by:

  • Review and documenting processes within the organization, performing a risk assessment on these processes and identification/ building in controls to mitigate these risks (internal control system)
  • Standardization of working methods to ensure the required level of quality of client servicing output (policies, procedures, manuals) (including client servicing processes, VP A, VP D, VP CA, Progress tool)
  • Running locally the Enterprise Risk Management system, in cooperation with Group
  • Running locally Business Continuity Management, in cooperation with Group
  • Demonstrating the internal control system, risk management and business continuity to our clients by:
  • Maintaining the ISAE 3402 report, including underlying testing and support to the auditors and the teams, with the objective of achieving a clean opinion
  • Maintaining ISO 27001 certification, including all underlying works
  • Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance (excluding KYC and AML matters which fall within the remit of the Legal / Compliance department)
  • Preparation of the Risk and compliance KPI’s monitoring dashboard and follow up in terms of data quality and/ or real backlogs (except the compliance part)
  • Monitoring of legal and regulatory developments, internal developments and feedback from various parties, providing staff updates, assessing their impact on the organization and suggesting recommended course of action to management
  • Running projects relating to legal and regulatory changes or ad-hoc projects as needed depending on the upcoming legislation or Group initiatives
  • Technical advice on accounting and reporting matters (incl. BCL, CSSF and FATCA and CRS reporting) and related legal and regulatory matters except AML-KYC
  • Internal trainings - cooperation with the HR department on the training plan, actively contribute by providing and/ or reviewing trainings on procedures, technical matters and new developments, cooperate with external providers in preparation (tailor making) of internal trainings
  • Maintain a hard-copy library and the QA Intranet page

Your profile:

  • Relevant experience in Quality Assurance 
  • Strong knowledge about ISAE 3402 and ISO 27001 certification
  • Management skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
