Job Purpose:

The Financial Director (FD) will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all finance related activities of our North America operations with offices in the United States and Canada. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, budgeting and financial planning and analysis.

 The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete multiple tasks and projects efficiently taking a leadership role and guiding the finance and accounting staff on a day to day basis. This role serves as a true business partner co-driving the business by providing proactive solutions and visibility to business risks and opportunities. 

Working with business leadership, he/she has the right critical thinking ability to challenge the organization to continuously improve performance.

This individual has deep technical knowledge accompanied with broad commercial awareness and intuitive business sense. He/she acts with energy and enthusiasm for the business at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Member of the North America management team responsible for corporate finance areas (Financial Planning/Business Support, Accounting, Tax, Transactional Finance, Treasury and Credit) reporting to the North America Regional Director with a dotted reporting line to the CFO Americas.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the North America operation
  • Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
  • Managing processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to Group and Regional Finance

Key Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s in business administration (MBA Preferred)
  • 5-7 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the professional and business services industry
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, SmartView, DAX
  • Fluent in English and Spanish/Portuguese a plus
