Job Purpose:

The Business Academy Associate is part of the Global Learning & Development team responsible for the delivery of TMF Group’s Learning Curriculum. The role will be supporting the establishment of TMF Business Academies across TMF Group which would deliver a range of curriculum to meet the needs of the organisation. Focused on TMF Business Academies, with initial priority given to a handful of selected locations; you’ll over time work with management to deliver a region wide academy network, whilst supporting Global offerings to be delivered in region/virtually too. As well as operationalising the academy network and delivery of curriculum, the Business Academy Associate will also support facilitation of learning for local colleagues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Must be able to:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of learning, keeping abreast of changing needs internally as well as external changes which may impact the academy delivery.
  • Work with your Manager and Business stakeholders across a diverse set of countries to identify future learning and development interventions that supports engagement of our colleagues; whilst evaluating curriculum that can be globally scalable.
  • Develop compelling curriculum and learning opportunities which support improved revenue opportunities and customer satisfaction on our solutions.
  • Support strategy delivery by working with global learning and business to create global best practice, which can be embedded by learning.
  • Closely support academy locations in the setup, preparation, evaluation and ‘train the trainer’ requirements.
  • Deliver and manage the delivery of comprehensive and engaging curriculum across your geography, either in person or using a virtual delivery platform.
  • Provide evidence of impact of delivered learning (whether by self or academy locations) by ensuring all learning is evaluated and effective.
  • Train local colleagues on how to deliver training to their local office as and when required.
  • Provide detailed execution/delivery plans that are suitable for review by senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan and Campaign ‘global’ learning opportunities to internal and external stakeholders within your geography.
  • Attend steering/internal meetings / conferences as and when required.
  • Share best practice and experiences within your geography to all locations and within the global learning team.
  • Facilitate with others on team with delivery of additional programmes.as and when required (such as Sales Training or Service Excellence).
  • Drive minimal attendance targets applied to ‘live’ courses.
  • Support the establishment of ‘Learning Credits’ for colleagues attending training and support administering this for academy locations.
  • Support digital colleagues in content creation for recorded learning opportunities (such as e-Learning).
  • Manage in person training events with full logistical coordination.
  • Has self–awareness and understands the impact they may have on others.
  • Through sound communication skills, is able to influence ‘Management’ and ‘Executive’ level colleagues, both internally and externally.
  • Is able to tactfully deal with situations should they arise in the immediate team.
  • Engages and builds credibility with internally influential individuals.
  • Can communicate (written/verbal) fluently in English.

 

Ideally would also:

  • Speak an additional language.
  • Support Global Learning & Development in assigned projects, as requested.

  • Self-starter, able to work with little supervision.
  • Able to focus on the big picture and on details.
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through- with passion for high quality work, drive to get things done etc.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience in developing and handling training materials or former administrative rolls around e-platforms would be considered as an advantage.
  • Experience in working with multiple offices with differing learning needs and requirements.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to develop reports.
