This is a HR Advisor/Manager level role, providing HR support for a specific M&A project. Working collaboratively, supporting the Cluster HR Manager and the local HR team to provide local country assistance with an acquisition and post completion activities. The role holder will be required to own and deliver assigned projects in line with deadlines, providing pro-active support with ad-hoc tasks where necessary. Working with the wider acquisition project team for the Channel Islands businesses (one office in Jersey and one in Guernsey), the role holder will take a consultative approach and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the jurisdictions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide proactive HR support to the business and its stakeholders;
  • Understand and work in a global matrix structure;
  • Support the CI businesses and undertake all HR project support, Admin and Advice level activities as required in relation to the project, keeping the Cluster HR Manager updated;
  • Working collaboratively with the existing HR team to support the management of general change; and
  • Conducting risk assessments as appropriate and advising stakeholders of those risks and advising on how to mitigate those risks

Experience required:

  • Prior experience of acquisitions / projects;
  • Post merger activities;
  • Change management;
  • project management; and
  • Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders, across various jurisdictions.
