Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the acquisition and on-boarding/implementation of new clients
  • Provide project management schedule, conduct service overview with clients and establish agreed processes to achieve effective and efficient delivery. Ensure client documentation is created and develop a clear process for updating
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of staff to ensure delivery of effective and efficient services to clients.
  • Ensure payroll process & services quality are delivered in accurate & timely manner;
  • Perform banking authorisations and bank reconciliations. Alert on any suspicious transactions
  • Respond effectively and on a timely manner to clients’ requests, feedback, escalations and peform
  • Advice clients on payroll and HR related issues;
  • Proactively visit clients, monitor client satisfaction levels and develop client relationship development plans
  • Establish and implement internal control. Conduct internal audits
  • Review system access/data access. Ensure client data is maintained with integrity
  • Ensure that client exits are managed and relevant reporting made.
  • Monitor and control the completion of time sheets, billing, debt recovery and credit control actions in the department;
  • Understand the department business goals and deliverables (including the Balance Scorecard / HROM measurements and such equivalent) and ensure the department achieves the goals and committed business delivery.
  • Provide timely data/reports and analysis.
    • Analyse customer specific demands and translate into solutions;
    • Analyse clients’ profitability
    • Anlayse employees’ productivity
    • Analyse department/business risks
  • Develop and maintain client relationships. Assist in business development and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling of company services;
  • Conduct department orientation, meetings etc. Track the action status for projects and activities

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree Holder in Human Resource Management or Business or Accountancy and any related disciplines is preferred.
  • Minimum 9 to 11 years hands-on experience in payroll, Employment Act, Personal Income Tax and well versed in related legislations;
  • Must have prior people management and supervisory experience;
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel;
  • Experience in outsourcing firm with strong client servicing skills is preferred;
  • Experience in managing Company’s ESOS (Employer Share Option Scheme) and SRS (Special Retirement Scheme) is an added advantage.
