Job Purpose

The HR Generalist is responsible to support day-to-day operations of the HR department for both Local and Group employees.  Takes care of all HR administration related to the employee life cycle. Key point of contact for the employee as an SME for Company policies, payroll related administration, absence management, and general labor conditions. Administrator ensures accurate and up to date reporting through the applicable Global and Local HR systems. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • He/She updates the People Planning Tool Rolling 24 Months Forecast
  • He/She updates Organization Chart with any structure and employees changes 
  • He/She is responsible for timely and qualitative data input, strong compliance on all data reporting and capable to run HR analytics
  • He/She initiates employees’ Mover/Leaver process 
  • He/She administrates employees’ data in applicable HR systems
  • He/She supports Performance Management Process  in Sage
  • He/She administrates Recruitment process through ATS/Page Up
  • He/She assists and supports recruitment process locally
  • He/She prepares for arrival, supports induction, follow up and notify probation ending
  • He/She registers, administrates and monitors training requests to support employees’ professional qualification
  • He/She administrates Group and local benefits schemes
  • He/She administrates Pay Review Process in Curo and out of cycle compensation changes
  • He/She executes employee administration: employees’ files,  input and output to/from payroll administration
  • He/She administrates employee relations: absenteeism, relations with Workers Council’s (if applicable), unions and staff representatives, grievance procedures, disciplinary action, legal disputes, diversity inclusion
  • He/She administrates voluntary exits: resignations, retirement
  • He/She ensures CEB Exit interview tool use for 100% of voluntary leavers
  • He/She administrates non-voluntary exits: redundancy, dismissals, long term sickness, death-in service
  • He/She works with employees’ data and financial information
  • He/She administrates travel expenses and payroll calculation 
  • He/She supports and coordinates Group HR communication for the local office.

 

Key Requirements

  • University’s Degree in Law, with specialization in Labor Law;
  • At least 3 years in structured companies and international teams;
  • Fluent in English, Italian mother tongue; knowledge of French is a very nice to have;
  • Strives for high standards of HR delivery;
  • Has a strong understanding of processes needed to undertake role successfully;
  • Able to make decisions within defined limits of authority;
  • Strong knowledge of local labour low, local legal regulations and requirements;
  • Understand and apply control and risk and governance frameworks consistently;
  • Communicate information in a clear and concise manner (verbal and written work) to both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Able to deal with difficult situations in a calm and diplomatic way.
