Job Position:

TMF Group is currently looking for enthusiastic recent graduates that would be interested in a 90-day Co-op program as a Sales Associate. The ideal individual will be able to leverage the Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Management experience acquired within the pursuit of their Business Administration (or equivalent) undergraduate degree.  The Sales Associate will focus on TMF’s “Cooperating Markets” program, which is focused on driving sales opportunities for companies based in certain strategic overseas markets with needs related to their expansion into North America (Mexico, Canada, and/or the United States) as well as North America based companies expanding to select international markets.  As an Associate in the 90-day Co-op program with TMF Group, you will gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, and establish a network of mentors and business contacts. You will work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients, our firm and how to work in a fast-paced environment.  Successful participants in the Associates program will be well placed for future, permanent employment opportunities with the business.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on companies expanding in and within the international footprint selected to develop multi-channel business opportunities
  • Document metrics and results to help improve strategy and markets to focus on (near-term, mid-term and long-term)
  • Work with the sales and marketing leadership to outline a “crawl-walk-run” approach for each market to ensure continuous success and scalability of the program
  • Conduct market research on channels and influencers to evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Assist in marketing, advertising, designing, and execution of promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web).
  • Conduct research for senior Global Sales personnel as necessary
  • Update list of contacts and prospects.
  • Manage transactional opportunities through the complete sales cycle, such as; formation of entities, certificate of good standings, and verification of corporate entities.
  • Work with the Sales Operations Manager to identify process improvements in our ways of working.
  • Creating presentations, documents, files, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Providing ad hoc support and perform special projects as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 0-1 year of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Management or another related field.
  • International Business experience a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work independently / remotely.
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service experience/knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.
  • Possess technical and analytical skills (e.g. Excel and MS Office products).
  • Available 40 hours per week.
