Key Responsibilities:

     Operate payroll software

  • Collate payroll data from clients: Pay change, Bonus, Overtime, Ex-Gratia, Leave
  • Prepare input file, check for appointment letters, incentive letters, communication related to payments for employees
  • Collate details of income from previous employment
  • Prepare and verify computation of TDS on salary
  • Adhere to all statutory compliance, payroll process audit and payments thereof
  • Adhere to all retirement benefits compliances and payment thereof to statutory bodies or employees
  • Process reimbursement and expense claims
  • Compute calculation of arrears
  • Adhering the deadline for salary disbursement and liaison with the Bank
  • Preparing MIS for employees and employers
  • Liaison with the employees and reply to their queries on tax computation.
  • Prepare statutory reports- Forms 16, 16AA,12BA, 24Q, 27A
  • Co-ordinate for submission of quarterly ETDS return
  • Co-ordinate for dispatch of annual certificate to employees
  • Maintain the documentation of communication with the client and payroll records
  • Generate and distribute monthly payroll registers, pay-slips to supervisor and clients
  • Prepare monthly payroll journal with cost center details
  • Prepare other management and compliance report as reqiured from time to time

 Job Specification:

  • Hands on experience of 2-4 years in end to end payroll process
  • Knowledge of employment laws and TDS on salary
  • Computer savvy with hands on experience in accounting software
  • Self motivated having organizational and planning skills
  • Good communications skills (verbal & written)
  • Quality conscious and committed
