Job purpose

The Supervisor Payroll will be leading the payroll department, providing Dutch payroll and HR  services to a diverse range of international clients. In addition to providing payroll services to our clients the Supervisor Payroll will be responsible for supporting and guiding the team.

Key responsibilities

• Leading a team of payroll administrators, and acting as back-up for the salary productions.

• Projects; implementation new software, implementation new clients, ticket system, etc.

• Ensuring uniform processes are in place

• Conducting meetings and conference calls with clients

• Keeping knowledge up-to-date of applicable rules and regulations

• Transferring of knowledge to the team and managing with best practices

• Onboarding of new clients

• Manages customer relationships

• Ensuring successful implementation of the transaction monitoring framework

• Ensuring transaction monitoring is continuously performed

• Coordinating Billing

• Producing CRFs/ BAFs when applicable

  TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Daily HR related tasks in scope of Team (ex: managing absence/ sickness)

• Actively being aware of what is going on in the team

• Coordinating the day-to-day planning and operation

• Coaching, mentoring and develop knowledge of team members

• Ensuring productivity and quality output from team members

• Ensuring the right amount of time is written for activities performed (manage VP)

• Ensuring transaction monitoring is continuously performed

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Unit4

• At least 2 years of Expat experience

• VPS certificated

• Good leadership skills

• Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Team motivator; excellent commercial skills; able to lead and delegate to team members; strives for high standards of delivery to clients; generates ideas for improvement based on past experience; communicates (verbally and in writing) information in a clear and concise manner
