Job Purpose

The Senior HR & Payroll Consultant will be part of a growing payroll department, providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients. The Senior HR & Payroll Consultant will have a solid understanding of payroll legislation and will be able to process payrolls from start to finish. For this position we offer a company car


Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up and onboard payroll of complex clients;
  • Processing payroll of complex clients who require special attention;
    • Affiliation for international clients
    • Daily communication with international clients
    • Processing payroll based on input received
    • Providing required output documents
    • Assistance on local legislation
  • Processing joiners and leavers;
    • Responsible for the Dimona declaration for joiners
    • Calculation of settlements for leavers
  • Establishing a good relationship with your clients based on trust;
  • Client meetings and conference calls;
  • Assisting with monthly knowledge session and input for Payroll FAQ for clients;
  • Assisting with projects for the HRP department (example ISAE3402 certification);
  • Assistance of HR & Payroll Manager with business development (meeting prospects and review contracts);
  • Communication with internal and client service delivery centres;
  • Assistance with putting in place best practices in the department
  • Maintaining process documents; Follow-up of our internal procedures concerning ISAE (international certification)
  • Act as a team-player
  • Being responsible for the portfolio of your team : checks on processed payrolls by HR & Payroll Associates and Consultants
  • Training new Junior Officers, answer questions from team regarding complex payroll questions;


Your Profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience of proven experience in a payroll delivery position.
  • Exposure to expat/international payrolls is desirable.
  • You are very communicative and stress resilient.
  • Experience of processing payrolls end to end.
  • Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Dutch or French.
