About the role

As a Senior Payroll Accountant, you will perform variety of payroll activities and assist Payroll Manager in managing deliveries to ensure that all matters of client companies are properly handled. You will be responsible for providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients. 


Your responsibilities will include but will be not limited to:

  • Preparation of official statements for clients, solving range of payroll matters in a consultancy with Legal department;
  • Maintaining a good and highly professional relationship with clients;
  • Communication with clients' contact persons and active participation at meetings with clients;
  • Communication with auditors and tax advisors;
  • Prioritize and plan work effectively;
  • Organize tasks and execute these tasks in the specific timeframe;
  • Delegate tasks when appropriate in order to meet set targets and deadlines;
  • Active participation at internal and external trainings;
  • Active participation at training of new employees in the department;
  • Encourages and supports others in the achievement of team goals;
  • Act as a back up of the Payroll Supervisor when necessary;
  • Other activities according to the directives of the Superiors


About you:

To succeed in this role, you should have very good knowledge of labor law and regulations in Slovakia, as well as enthusiasm to build up your career in international client-centric organization. Since you will be working directly with our clients, you should be passionate in providing a positive experience for the clients by working with them to ensure all needs are consistently met.

Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:

  • Bachelor or University degree (Economy or Accounting/Payroll);
  • 5 years of experience in supervising of payroll processes;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office;
  • Communicates effectively through written or verbal communication both in Slovakian and English;
  • Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities;
  • Strong ability to plan ahead and organize;
  • Ability to create collaborative relationships across the team in order for the business to be successful;
  • Experience in a similar role or business with good client servicing skills is preferred;
