  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Local IT support technician role
  • Good understanding of various technologies including Microsoft back office platforms and end user computing
  • Good understanding of end user computing hardware including Dell and HP
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft O365 (including SharePoint/Teams) and Citrix
  • Good understanding of local information security practices and cyber protection

 

 

The Local IT Support Technician is responsible for providing customer support and maintaining the local infrastructure to enable TMF to service its clients effectively and efficiently.

  • Proactive first- and second-line customer support to internal business colleagues locally or across the region ensuring their requests are completed effectively and efficiently
  • Proactively engaging with internal customers to understand their requirements, initiate procurement of hardware or software according to company policies
  • Work in partnership with the Global infrastructure and Application support teams and escalate any issues to third-line support as and when appropriate
  • Administer and manage local and regional infrastructure (including DR/backup operations), maintenance of internally hosted applications and reporting any incidents within the Service Management platform
  • Executing foundational technology or application changes as per the change management process
  • Lifecycle management of regional assets and ensuring assets are administered in line with compliance and global standards
  • Deployment of local hardware and software at the highest possible standard using company approved products and services
  • Ensuring local security controls are administered to the highest possible standard and reporting any incidents in line with company policy
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes. Able to lead the team to meet deliverables and drive work to completion within specified timelines
