Job Purpose

To provide support to the Manager / Director on an ongoing basis to ensure the efficiency of the Company is maintained.
To undertake professional development and training necessary to obtain an appropriate professional qualification.
To safeguard customer relations by ensuring that work is undertaken efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client financial, management and ad hoc reporting.
  • Preparation of asset reconciliations.
  • Recording purchase / sale of investments.
  • Recording calls and distributions.
  • Recording transfer / sale of units, shares and interests.
  • Review of and assistance with bookkeeping.
  • Preparation of client ledgers.
  • Liaise with auditors.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure that the rules, regulations and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships between individual members of the team.
  • Perform all tasks delegated in a timely manner, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Responsibility for assisting with client portfolios.
  • Undertake and assist with the sections workloads as necessary and when required.
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with clients of the Company.
  • Make positive suggestions as to how effective changes can be made to improve the procession of the workflow.
  • Undertake and assist with the other sections workloads as necessary and when required.
  • Ensure all time is recorded correctly onto the time recording system on a daily basis.
  • Respond to client communications allocated on a timely basis, adhering to 4-eyes review at all times.
  • Prepare work to a high standard to maintain the Company’s corporate image.
  • Attend all relevant training courses to ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Comply with all of the Company’s procedures and policies.
  • Ensure personal compliance with policies and regulations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Education and qualifications’ to at least ‘A’ level standard (essential)
  • Education to degree level in a relevant subject (desirable)
