Job Purpose:

The Commercial Director, Fund Services is primarily responsible for development of new Fund Services business opportunities for TMF globally. This role is predominately focused on our fund administration and investment structuring services, with the goal of developing and maintaining a network of prospects and translating those prospects into clients. While also delivering upsell and cross sell sales to their existing client portfolio. The commercial focus of this role may also include other products from TMF Group’s, portfolio of services.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring focus, energy, and go-to-market skills to help TMF sustained existing business, win more business, close cycle times, and improve our overall win-rate.
  • Develop and maintain a network of prospects that will enable a strong, consistent pipeline for conversion into sales.
  • Demonstrate success in driving sales management, sales planning and sales enablement.
  • Manage the initial contact to contract sales process efficiently and effectively, cooperating with TMF account teams in a collaborative and solution orientated manner.
  • Work simultaneously with regional global practice colleagues and other TMF team members to ensure the best customer experience and response.
  • Build market awareness of TMF and our Fund Services offerings (fund administration and investment structuring services).
  • Lead multi-jurisdictional deals, ensuring seamless integration of new clients into the TMF network.
  • Meet monthly and yearly revenue targets.

Key knowledge and experience:

  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated successful consulting services or solution sales experience in high-end major national/global accounts; verifiable track record of exceeding expectations with desired experience around Funds Services.
  • Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of impeccable trust, confidence, and results.
  • Demonstrate superior ability to communicate effectively, develop, and lead relationship-building activities with C-Level Executives in multinational companies.
  • Self-motivated, thrives under pressure, and can work both independently as part of a team.
  • Ability to work on multiple issues, change priorities, and organize workload.
  • Able to “solution sell”. This is the ability to listen to the client’s needs and understanding that this concept is more important than making a hard sell.
  • Have excellent negotiation qualities and is able to identify and exploit changes in market conditions.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% the time

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
