Our new colleague will work with the Internal Finance Team to meet the accounting, tax, and other reporting commitments, giving all management and key stakeholders a clearer understanding of the challenges and strengths of the business from a truly balanced perspective of an experienced adviser.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all relevant month-end financial close procedures including necessary accruals and payroll accounting
- Oversee and coordinate the accounts payable processes from order to payment
- Treasury management, contact with banks
- Prepare VAT declaration and statutory reports (VAT, Intrastat, F24, withholding taxes)
- Being the reference person for Finance Shared Service Center
- Tax payment
- Managing accurate and timely fixed asset information in the fixed asset register
- Ensuring that statutory requirements are met and adopted accordingly in the company’s operational and financial activities, and compliance with other government rules and regulations
- Year-end adjustment entries for Statutory FS purposes
- Ensuring that compliant books and records are maintained while performing checks on the correctness of data
- Be able to contribute to accounting software development by working with the developers
- Provide support and assistance to the Manager on projects and ad-hoc tasks
About you
Ideally, you meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting
- Good knowledge of English (B2 – C1)
- Up to 5 years’ experience in similar organizations
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or Profis preferred)
- Responsible, respects deadlines, good communication, and organized
- Strong understanding of Local Accounting Standards and VAT Tax rules
- Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
