Job Purpose

The Senior Accounting and Tax Officer assists the Team Leaders and Supervisors in daily deliverables to provide excellent service to clients. They provide financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports, submitting the reports to the client and are able to coach junior staff in the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle full set of accounts and bank operations for clients;
• Assists to manage daily work with high complexity, including closing full set of books;
• Maintains relationship with clients and internal/external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, BIR and other government departments on client company’s affairs, accounts, bank accounts, tax filing, etc.;
• Query management with internal and external- 3rd party stakeholders;
• Guide Junior Officer
• Prepares and checks various reports as requested by clients;
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities.
• Working with HR on recruitment activities, performance reviews, and employee relations matters;
• Update and maintain records/information in ViewPoint.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

• Advance student or graduated in accounting.
• 4 or 5 years of experience in accountancy and accounting Analysis.
• Experience in tax area.
• Analytical, proactive and developed soft skills.
• English level: advance. 
• Excel level: intermediate.
