Job Purpose: 

Provide Corporate Secretarial Advisory and support to clients, responsible to monitor and ensure compliance with the regulatory bodies under a particular jurisdiction.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures entities’ statutory compliance and deliver quality service efficiently.
  • Handles all day-to-day corporate secretarial functions of entities under own portfolio. Review of statutory forms, resolutions and documents prepared by team members.
  • Assists in carrying out technical training program, conduct on the job training, carries out regular discussion with team members on technical issue.
  • As portfolio holders, replies to clients’ requests and attend to tasks on timely basis.
  • Monitor Assistant’s turnaround time and works to improve on staff efficiency on jobs that Assistant has handled inefficiently.
  • Identifies team members’ strengths and weaknesses and works with them to develop competency. 

 

Key Requirements:

  • Possess CGI (ICSA) Qualification and is a member of MAICSA.
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in professional firms/ private limited/ public listed companies’ experience.
  • Must be familiar with Companies Act, Listing Requirements, etc.
  • Good organizational skills in relation to documentation and work processes.
  • Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, positive disposition, initiative, high integrity and able to work under strict deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player, yet able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English skills.
