The primary focus of the role will be:

  • Supporting the bookkeeping for a portfolio of investment fund structures 
  • Preparation and reconciliation of monthly bank accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements/management reporting
  • Maintaining pro-active communication to ensure that the Client Senior Accountant is kept appraised of the status of all deliverables.
  • Working closely with counterparts on other teams to ensure seamless and coordinated service delivery.
  • Maintaining files in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Proactively look to develop own skills within the wider business and assisting other teams
  • In addition to the duties listed above, the Fund Accountant may be requested to perform any other ad hoc duties or projects as requested by the Client Senior Accountant.
  • You will receive full support in progressing with more complex cases and an increased volume of work as knowledge of the entities and accounting standards (and professional studies) increases.

Entry Requirements: A-Levels or Bachelors Degree, motivation to study towards professional qualification, able to organise oneself to meet challenging deadlines and ability to learn quickly and work within a team.

Completion of probation: (probation is 20 weeks)
