KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for the maintenance of her/his client’s payroll accounts;
  • Reviews and processes payroll data;
  • Researches and resolves payroll related issues of the clients in coordination with legal/labour advisors of the client,
  • Responds to inquiries regarding payroll transactions;
  • Monitors all the monthly, quarterly and annual payroll deadlines using the defined tools;
  • Reviews and coordinates social security and tax filings to meet required deadlines according to Italian legislation,

  • Understands TMF Groups' business lines, regulatory requirements and how the organisation is structured;
  • Understands and applies control and risk governance frameworks consistently;

  • Is responsible for debt collection and negotiation of fees with clients in area of accountability;
  • Will be mindful of cultural differences across a diverse organization;

  • Will manage stakeholders' expectations with regards to delivery, escalating concerns as appropriate;

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma or degree in Law/Economics or a related subject.
    • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
    • Deep working knowledge of payroll best practices.
    • Strong knowledge of different National Collective Labour Agreements.
    • Accurate at data management and comfortable in dealing sensitively with confidential material.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (specially Excel)
    • Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and verbal

    ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTING

    • The Payroll Specialist will report directly to the Payroll Manager.
