Client Account Manager (Company Secretarial Associate)

To manage the client relationship and delivery of service to a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of all client work across the portfolio in a timely manner and to a high standard in accordance with statute and the firms internal policies and procedures. To develop opportunities within existing portfolio and assist with continuous improvement of services delivery. 






  • Act as the principal contact for clients and other TMF offices, regarding corporate secretarial matters within a client portfolio, building a strong professional relationship with both clients and their advisors.
  • Supervise the preparation of documents and implementation in respect of the corporate secretarial annual compliance service by junior members of the team, such as confirmation statements and accounts approval resolutions, within prescribed deadline.
  • Supervise the preparation of documentation required to implement basic corporate changes by junior members of the team, such as the change of company officers, simple share allotments and transfers, and incorporations.
  • Ensure that delivery of services is aligned with each client service agreement.
  • Attend client meetings, both formal and informal, as required.
  • Share relevant information and updates regarding statute and firm procedures as appropriate.
  • Support the onboarding process and assist with the gathering of information for know your client procedures for both new and existing clients.
  • Undertake technically specialist, such capital restructures, and ad hoc project work within the team as required. 
  • Develop technical knowledge through professional development, education, reading and attendance of train courses and seminars (both internal and external).  Escalating technical issues where knowledge gaps are identified.
  • Attend professional and networking events to represent and promote the TMF brand
  • Accurate and timely completion of timecards
  • Strives for high standards of delivery to clients
  • Shares ideas and knowledge with other team members and across service lines
  • Understands each service agreement and the concepts of work in progress and what falls within the scope of fixed fees
  • Manages both internal and external stakeholders’ expectations with regards to delivery, escalating concerns as appropriate
  • Is mindful of the impact of personal behaviour on the business and colleagues
  • Acts with integrity and is a trustworthy team member who considers those around them




  • Ideally an associate or fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • A proficient user of Blueprint Oneworld would be an advantage
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise
