The Onboarding Officer will handle legal and administrative matters of prospective client companies to ensure full compliance with TMF Intake policies. The (Senior) Onboarding Officer is part of a dedicated team and has the responsibility to hand over new accounts to the respective service teams in such a way that the client can start to be serviced without any unclear matters or compliance open issues.

The position is for a minimum of 3-6 months starting a.s.a.p. and gives candidate explicitly the opportunity to contribute to the further upscaling and professionalisation of TMF client onboarding services. Preference for full time availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft standard legal documents e.g. Service Agreements and Statements of Work in accordance with local and Global standards
  • Collect, review and assess relevant (legal) documentation and advice from third parties and evaluate suitability to complete Compliance requirements
  • Assist in incorporations where necessary in close co-operation with the client, notary, law firms and/or tax firms
  • Prepare a concise and complete handover to the service delivery teams
  • Attend and carry out calls/meetings with Sales/Transitioning staff and clients
  • Ensure that all procedures remain in line with applicable internal guidelines and execute any activities necessary to enable TMF Group c.a. to comply with regulations which are required from a sound compliance point of view
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process, e.g. by developing a strong working relationship with Compliance Group / NL, (Global) Sales staff and Transitioning teams
  • Populate client database (VP)
  • Keep records per account of own worked hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Professional Qualifications

  • University degree in (Dutch) law or solid professional experience
  • 1 – 5 years relevant (TMF) working experience, preferably in the Compliance Domain
  • Knowledge of corporate law and regulations
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills
