As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

 

 At this role you will have possibility to work mostly remotely. 

 

 Job purpose

As a Financial Controller you will work as part of Internal Finance team. You will hold a regional function and report to the regional CFO. You are responsible for various accounting and financial tasks to be completed in an accurate and timely manner. You will perform reviews on local reporting's reviewing if the monthly market reporting packs are in accordance with IFRS and TMF Group Accounting Policy and connect with them to ensure proper reporting. You also analyze the current work processes, prepare proposals, test new IT reports and implement these where needed. To achieve these goals you require excellent knowledge of financial and IT processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the regional CFO with completing the financial administration in time;
  • Review of the reporting from local offices to Group;
  • Prepare, analyze and execute financial reports;
  • Prepare monthly pre-closing calls with markets/region (in coordination with Group Finance team)
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reviews and create action plan with RCFO and LOs to resolve/clean-up positions
  • Monitor properly IFRS applied and if reporting are in accordance to TMF GAAP;
  • Provide input to the AO/IC process;
  • Contribute in optimizing, improving and obeying the AO/IC principles;
  • Will generate ideas for improvement based on past experience
  • Improve the financial systems and tests future releases;
  • Maintain the design and contents of the automated financial environment;
  • Coaching and mentoring responsibilities to maintain ensure quality of work and efficiency
  • Analyze the reporting of other countries belonging to the Region
  • Specific projects and analysis such as internal control, capex, tax provisioning, accrual accounting;

 

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years relevant working experience in an audit firm or within an international company;
  • Be able to work under time pressure and flexibility with regards to the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing;
  • Proactive – takes responsibility – completes tasks – Result-oriented;
  • IFRS knowledge;
  • Good command of English (both verbal and written)
  • University Degree (Finance and Accounting or Economics)
