Job purpose
The Senior Compliance Officer is part of the Swiss Compliance & Risk Team and reports to the Team Lead Compliance & Risk (TMF Switzerland). The Senior Compliance Officer supports the Team Lead Compliance & Risk (TMF Switzerland) in assigned daily activities and is able to work independently.
At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or hybrid from the office in Katowice.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Team Lead Compliance & Risk in drafting & review of Policies and Procedures (AML related) for all business lines
Sampling and testing of adherence to policies and procedures (non-AML related)
Performing (Enhanced) Due Diligence on new clients
Ongoing review, monitoring and updating of KYC files
Updating local compliance and AML systems and applications as required
Liaising with local authorities, external auditors, and internal auditors
Review of KYC files for ACER meetings
Attending and minuting ACER meetings
Performing Transaction Monitoring and conducting clarification process
Liaising with Group Compliance for ongoing group compliance and risk related matters
Provide training and support to the business on AML matters
Supporting the Team Lead Compliance & Risk in Incident Management processes and Complaint Handling processes
Maintaining relevant sanction lists and communicating same to the business
New projects as assigned on a case by case basis
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree preferred
Preferably a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a similar position or relevant experience
You are fluent both written and oral in English
You are able to provide work of high and consistent quality, often with tight deadlines
You like reading and analyzing regulation
You are dedicated to work in a fast growing environment
You are a proactive person with good presentation and communication skills

You are skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
