Job Purpose
This internship role will be responsible for a variety of accounting and finance-related tasks that are primarily associated with preparing financial records. This includes tax related tasks, preparing returns, organizing and maintaining financial records, reconciliation of accounts and ensuring statements are accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist in clients' bank reconciliations
To assist in preparing documents for approved payments, application of bank drafts and tele-graphic bank transfer of the Client Accounting.
To assist to perform the Client Accounting and Tax Services tasks.
To assist in scanning of internal documents such as payment vouchers and etc.
To assist in compiling documents for audits and tax assignments.
To handle mailing and backup the necessary documents to our systems.
Manage and control the master data including creation, modification and review in a timely and accurate manner.
Preparation of draft invoices and assign to administrators/file handlers for review and approval.
Ensure delivery of high-quality financial data.
Support the analysis the ageing of the trade receivables.
Assist in monitoring debtors’ aging and follow up on debtors’ collections with credit controllers as assigned by reporting manager.
Handling and liaise queries/issues from clients/administrators/Managers
To assist in preparing and processing payments run as assigned by reporting manager.
To assist in processing invoices according to defined procedures in ERP system as assigned by reporting manager.
To assist in filings, ad-hoc functions and related duties assigned from time-to-time.
Key Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
Multilingual candidates is an added advantage.
Good communication skill and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, possess a strong sense of responsibility, trustworthy & able to multitask.
Team player.
