Job Purpose
The Corporate Secretarial Intern will assist the team in overseeing a portfolio of incorporated companies to ensure that all company secretarial matters of clients are handled.
Additionally, providing support to the team who are responsible to monitor and ensure compliance with the regulatory bodies under a particular jurisdiction.
Key Responsibilities:
To assist the team on providing company secretarial services to a range of client companies.
Update and maintain as well as take custody (if applicable) of all relevant statutory records, books, forms and documents by ensuring all documents are updated and being stored in View Point for data integrity.
General administrative work and filing of documents.
Ensure progress of all tasks is updated in the individual monitoring list.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties assigned from time-to-time.
Key Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Certificate in Law or equivalent, and finalist of ICSA is an added advantage.
Relevant exposure gained in professional firm / law firm / CPA firm,
Good knowledge of corporate secretarial practices and be familiar with Companies Act and regulations of regulated bodies.
Good computer skills (Words, Excel, Power point etc.) with experience/knowledge in ViewPoint system as an advantage.
Attentive to details with a high degree of accuracy.
Good business writing and communication skills.
Good command of both spoken and written English, proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese as an added advantage.
Independent and able to work under pressure.
Able to follow defined processes.
