Katowice is also the location for our new structure - the Regional Delivery Center, whose task is to serve the European markets of our clients, companies from the Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 rankings. As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.
At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or hybrid from the office in Katowice.
Job purpose
As a Senior Specialist you will be responsible for variety of R2R (GL) tasks. You will support R2R process in Internal Finance Department in delivering the high quality service ensuring timely and accurate MEC and reporting as well as KPI's and SLA's monitoring. You will be driving process improvements, automation, efficiency increase. You will be contributing to process standardization, preventing process gaps. You will be providing guidelines to R2R team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly fixed fee analysis (Fixed fee time based; Fixed fee non-time based)
Journal posting of deferred income and accrued fees
Unearned bookkeeping fees update
Update PFIC (revenue and cost) and ESMA (revenue) overviews
Analysing ledger accounts (Balance sheet and P/L)
Monitor unallocated balance (Sundry debtors; Unallocated cash etc.)
Salary and pension postings
Posting of staff recharges
Reconciliation of net salaries, wage tax and other staff related accounts
Management reports update
Preparation of GRPs
Review of bank payments
Key Requirements:
University/College Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Minimum 4-5 year of experience in similar position (GL/R2R/A-Z accounting)
Good command of English (both verbal and written)
Knowledge of accounting rules
MS Office knowledge
Knowledge of IFRS
Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience will be an asset
Strong attention to details and analytical skills, Good communication and team work skills
