As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

 

DISCOVER THE ROLE

The Payroll Team Leader provides a first-class payroll service within the UK Global Payroll Team. The role works closely with the Payroll Service Delivery Managers and is responsible for providing day to day support and supervision of the team to review and maintain a high level of service delivery. At this role you will manage and resolve any client escalations and strive for continuous improvement within the team.

At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or hybrid (eg. once a month) from the office in Katowice.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing a team of Payroll staff including allocation of work, review of workload and assisting with work related matters
  • Managing payroll compliance requirements within the team including accurate, complete and timely processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
  • Ensuring quality of service relationship building between the Client and TMF, participating in calls with clients
  • Being the point of contact for the team and clients for potential client escalations. Maintain a full understanding of processes to be able to resolve matters swiftly and accurately
  • Processing a portfolio of clients within the team. Set a good example to the team as to how to manage/process clients well and share this practice with the team
  • Carrying out HR related activities for the team including performance reviews and development discussions

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Practical experience in UK payroll calculations (end to end process – data input, calculations, reporting) – must have
  • Detailed knowledge of local regulations as taxes, contributions, benefits in kind etc.,
  • CIPP or related will be an asset
  • Fluency in English - must have
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Ability to articulate and communicate with clients in a concise and professional manner
  • Experience of managing or supervising a team including allocation and review of work and performance assessment
