Job Description: Legal Assistant 

Reports to:

Legal Officer

Job Purpose:

The Legal Assistant will handle all legal and administrative matters of client companies and is able to maintain and develop relationships with domestic and foreign advisors, banks and shareholders taking into account the existing procedures of TMF Group. The Candidate is part of a dedicated client team and has delegated responsibility to keep the client files in good legal standing under the supervision of a Senior Team member.

Key Responsibility:

 

  • Assist the Legal team with administrative & corporate secretarial tasks;
  • Serve as central point of contact for correspondence with banks, notaries and other relevant parties;
  • Handle day to day legal and corporate matters for our client companies under the supervision of the Legal Team such as incorporations, liquidations, annual meetings of shareholders, board meetings, share purchases etc.;
  • Take care of registration with the Commercial Court and other registrations;
  • Maintain Viewpoint database and Enate.

 

TMF acts as a director for client companies either in personal or corporate name. The candidate will support the current director whom acts as director for client companies with the review and signature of documents as well as the organization and administration of the documents signed.

  • Assist on Directorship clients (review of the documents and arrange for the signature) and assist in keeping the procedures up to date for these clients.

The Candidate handles the administrative tasks of the Compliance department. He is, together with the Compliance Officer, responsible for keeping the compliance files in good standing. The Assistant supports the activities of the TMF Office in France administratively.

  • Execute any activities necessary to ensure TMF and its clients comply with the TMF Compliance process.
