DISCOVER THE ROLE

As a Senior Client Acceptance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in onboarding new clients by managing legal, compliance, and administrative processes to ensure seamless service delivery. Acting as a key point of contact, you will collaborate with internal teams, prospective clients, and external stakeholders to meet compliance standards and ensure a smooth handover to service delivery teams. Your expertise in navigating complex situations and assessing KYC requirements will be instrumental in safeguarding compliance while maintaining strong client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the onboarding process.
• Independently manage client onboarding, including assessing and verifying KYC documentation to ensure compliance.
• Review and draft standard legal documents, such as service agreements, in line with global and local standards.
• Act as a liaison to address legal or compliance concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring all parties are aligned on onboarding objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of time and activities for each account, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Prepare and coordinate comprehensive handovers for service delivery teams to guarantee client satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and act as a gatekeeper of the Dutch financial system under applicable laws.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for a candidate who has:

• A higher education degree (HBO), preferably in a legal field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in AML/CTF, with a solid understanding of regulations for various client types.
• Proficiency in corporate law and AML requirements for entities with complex ownership structures.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong communication skills.
• A general interest in international financial markets and instruments.
• Completed a basic Trust Officer course or is prepared to pursue relevant certifications.
