JUNIOR HR SPECIALIST NORTH AMERICA AND LATAM

We are looking for Human Resources professionals to join Shared Service team based in Bogotá.

JOB PURPOSE

The HR Regional Delivery Center (i.e. further HR RDC) is to provide a coordinated HR support function to decentralized offices in the AMERICAS region and to their employees. HR RDC will provide HR administrative services and other HR tasks and processes as well as advices and user support on the HR questions and use of HR systems. The HR RDC will consolidate HR administrative functions to deliver them in a cost-effective manner, promoting operational efficiencies and service improvements.

JUNIOR HR SPECIALSIT for the AMERICAS is responsible for delivering tasks in the consistent and effective manner applying policies, programs, procedures, and practices of the HR RDC. The job holder has to provide basic HR administration operational knowledge as well as HR systems basic understanding. Motivation for further technical learning, in depth understanding of delegated tasks and personal growth is prevailing factor.

JUNIOR HR Specialist will report to Team Leader for the Americas Region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with forming and maintaining employee records
  • Updating HR databases (e.g. SAGE)
  • Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts, Addendums etc.
  • Being aware of requirements such as legal compliance, internal compliance
  • Communicating with external and internal colleagues
  • Reporting regularly on HR metrics
  • Assisting to payroll and all other stakeholders by providing them with relevant employee information
  • Helping with various HR admin tasks
  • Proactively participate in managing the RDC mailbox
  • Prepares all the requested documentation in time following the specific procedures and standards

COMPETENCIES

  • Commitment to ongoing HR learning.
  • Understanding various HR software systems.
  • Computer-literate (e.g. word, excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of regulations connected to HR (e.g. labor law). 
  • Interpersonal with good communicative skills.

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 1 years of relevant working experience.
  • Language skills (Spanish and English).
  • University degree (Business administration, industrial engineering, international Business).
