About the role

As a Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will be a part of the Accounting and Tax team responsible for supporting the transfer pricing practice of TMF Group in the Netherlands. You will be involved in preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, advising multinational clients on transfer pricing issues, and ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations. You will also work closely with senior team members and contribute to the development of the transfer pricing practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare transfer pricing documentation such as Local Files (including benchmarking studies), Master Files, Country-by-Country notifications, Country-by-Country Reports, and intercompany agreements.
  • Give advice on the day-to-day operational transfer pricing requirements to clients and colleagues.
  • Use different database platforms (such as Refinitiv Eikon, TP Catalyst, etc.) for conducting benchmarking analysis for intercompany transactions.
  • Stay updated with changes in international (e.g., OECD, UN, EU) and local transfer pricing developments and trends and understand their implications for clients and the practice.
  • Participate in business development and develop work relationships with clients, external advisors, and client servicing teams.
  • Ability to communicate Transfer Pricing concepts clearly and succinctly to non-TP stakeholders.

About you

Ideally, you meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent qualification in tax law or economics. A specialization in Transfer Pricing is considered as an advantage.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Tax and Transfer Pricing in an international environment.
  • Good knowledge of Transfer Pricing principles, methodologies, and regulations as well as Dutch transfer pricing legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of team with colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment (ATAD 2, CRS-FATCA and MDR).
  • Good analytical, project management and leadership skills;
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication.
