About the role
As the Semi-Senior Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for providing a world class service to our clients in Turkey.
Since this is a semi-senior role, you will stand as pivotal team member and assist the team with complex tasks, ensuring TMF’s clients are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations across payroll. In addition, you will also train and supervise our Junior team members and contribute to other's development.
Key responsibilities:
Providing services mainly to medium-size and large-size clients under minimum supervision;
Collecting of all necessary information from the client on time;
Responsible for accurate entry and verification of source information into payroll/HR software;
Ensuring all paperwork is filed on time and accurately with the relevant Turkish authorities (Social Security Institution);
Identifying errors or missing documentation provided by the client;
Submitting all output and reports for clients to Manager for approval;
Preparation of banking payroll file;
Sending correspondence to clients and Turkish authorities concerning payroll/HR agenda;
Providing support in professional development and onboarding of Junior employees;
Working in compliance with all TMF procedures and related standards of work;
Any other tasks assigned by the manager
About you
Ideally you are meeting following criteria:
Bachelor degree (Economy, management, mathematics, econometrics);
At least 4 years of experience in the payroll area;
Good command of English language is compulsory;
Ability to communicate and interact well with clients, business partners and colleagues;
Previous experience in multinational and/or service company is an advantage;
Very good computer literacy, specifically Excel;
Open-minded, pro-active and with problem-solving attitude
