Key Responsibilities
Lead integration of newly acquired entities to align with IFRS and TMF Group accounting policy and procedures
Ensure delivery of high quality financial data and efficient period end closing process
Review accounts reconciliation and month-end closing entries, such as fixed asset depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, IFRS adjustments, etc.
Ensure compliance with IFRS for group reporting
Maintain reconciliation between local statutory reporting and group reporting
Perform review of monthly financial reports and ensure these are submitted in accordance with the group reporting deadlines
Lead the statutory audit/liaise with external auditor for assigned entities
Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations
Conduct continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvements
Develop, coach, and provide guidance to junior team member
Assist regional finance team with projects related to APAC region
Key Requirements
University/College Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position
Good command of English (both verbal and written)
Solid knowledge of local accounting rules and IFRS
Strong experience in financial reporting, month- and year- end closing and audit
MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel
Good communication and leadership skills
Detail-oriented, numerical and analytical
