Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing:
    • Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
    • Enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper coding and classification.
    • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in invoices.
    • Strong hold on accounting basics such as Debit and Credit
    • Good in communication and good experience in drafting emails to both internal and external point of contacts
  • Vendor Payments:
    • Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Ensure timely payment to vendors to maintain good relationships.
    • Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment queries or disputes.
  • Vendor Relations:
    • Maintain accurate vendor records and contact information.
    • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues in a timely manner.
    • Build positive relationships with vendors.
  • Internal Controls:
    • Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements.
    • Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • GST knowledge:
    • Experience in filing GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B returns
    • Good knowledge of GST law mainly with respect to ineligible Input tax credit and Reverse charge mechanism
  • Audit support:
  • Experience in sharing the information with the auditors from AP standpoint

  • Thorough knowledge on TDS:
    • Experience in filing e-TDS returns
    • Good knowledge of TDS regulations
