About the Role
As an Enterprise Mobility Operations Engineer, you will focus on delivering a consistent product and computing experience to the TMF Group workforce. This role addresses potential span of control issues, supports employee engagement and workforce sustainability initiatives, and is essential for executing Group IT’s Workforce Experience strategy.
This position requires a medium-level professional with a minimum of 7+ years of experience, who will be part of the Global Enterprise Mobility Team. The role necessitates knowledge of Endpoint Management, Remote Access, Windows Client platforms, Patch management and VDI Technologies.
Responsibilities include providing technical support and maintenance for client platforms and SCCM, Manage Engine and Intune Infrastructure. This involves identifying and troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and implementing enhancements to improve system performance. Additionally, the operations engineer will act as a mentor in patch management, application support, vulnerability management on systems, and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
Work collaboratively with application stakeholders and WPS.
Providing technical support for a range of updates and applications deployments performed via SCCM/ME, including diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues, identifying, and fixing defects, and implementing enhancements
Assisting with the deployment and testing of new components and updates in the infrastructure.
Collaborating with other members of the IT team and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and provide timely resolution of issues
Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Networking.
Patch & Software Deployment, understanding of application packaging & deployment and PowerShell scripting.
Experience OS Deployment and Support for Windows 10 and 11.
Maintaining Microsoft 365 Apps.
Maintaining documentation and records of support activities and processes
Mentoring the respective support team, including providing guidance and support as needed
Providing support and fixes on vulnerabilities identified on systems and work in collaboration with different team for same.
Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
7+ years of experience in Patch Management, Application deployment and OSD
Knowledge on SCCM and Manage Engine.
Microsoft 365 Apps and OS Upgradation
Bitlocker Management via SCCM
Customized reporting, hands on SQL query
Proactive application/patching monitoring, analyzing and fixing issues that arise.
Manage application/updates releases and hotfixes - both regular and ad-hoc.
Deep investigations, monitor logs, debug logs, and analyze the issue.
Incident, change and problem management.
Installation and configurations, software deployments and software updates.
Scripts creation and optimizations.
Supports the up skilling of team through sharing of knowledge, best practice, and coaching
Should have good communication & Interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good understanding of Azure services
