Discover The Role
As the Junior Accountant Associate you will support the Accounting and Tax team on a day-to-day basis, with a portfolio of corporate clients for whom TMF provides accounting services
Key Responsibilities
Key Requirements
- Review / preparation of all primary accounting documents according to local compliance regulations;
- Accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients (depreciation, prepayments, re-evaluations);
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of balance sheet and income statements and various other accounting statements;
- Reviews and checks the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers etc.
- Prepares on a monthly basis supporting analyses of all balance sheet accounts, by indicated deadlines;
- Prepares the monthly tax returns, by indicated deadlines;
- Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to: primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects.
Key Requirements
- 1-2 years of accounting experience;
- Excellent computer knowledge (especially Excel). If you have worked with special accounting software's such as Dynamix or SAP that will be considered as a great advantage;
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant field;
- Pro-active attitude in promoting improvements and seeking clarifications;
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines;
- Team player who actively promotes open and effective communication;
- Comfortable having work reviewed and receiving constructive feedback
