Payroll Consultant

Client focused - Full time – Ebene 

Job Purpose:

The HR & Payroll Consultant will be part of a growing payroll department, providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients. He/She will have a solid understanding of payroll legislation and will be able to process payrolls from start to finish.

Reports to:

HR & Payroll Director & Senior colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a good relationship with your clients based on trust;
  • Client meetings and conference calls, act as an advisor;
  • Act as a team player and contribute to the growth of our team with your ideas;
  • Be responsible for a client portfolio assisted by our seniors in more complex scenarios;
    • Affiliation of international clients
    • Daily communication with international clients
    • Processing payroll based on input received
    • Providing required output documents
    • Assistance with local legislation
  • Processing joiners and leavers;
    • Responsible for the Dimona declaration of joiners
    • Calculation of settlements for leavers
  • Responsible for declarations (DMFA, Belcotax) towards governmental bodies;
  • Answering daily telephone calls and emails;
  • Participate in our training plan and work on your own development by identifying growth opportunities (you are in the driver's seat of your career);
  • Assist with projects to build on the HRP department's daily operations;
  • Ensure compliance (for example ISAE3402 certification);
  • Act as a team player;
  • Drive and implement best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English as well as Dutch or French
  • Experience in payroll

  • Be able to work remotely and keep good contact with TMF colleagues
  • Goal-focused (both individual and team goals)

  • Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience working in and having knowledge of Belgian payroll is a plus
