Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients and internal business units regarding corporate direct tax compliance matters and regulations;
- Coach and train Junior tax officers;
- Review of deliverables (various tax compliance obligations) prepared by Junior Tax Officers concerning direct tax matters;
- Assist Tax Manager with technical researches and implementation of different tax compliance strategies;
- Assist Tax Manager with tax technical trainings for accounting and legal teams;
- Attend client meetings & calls when assistance is required for specific direct tax compliance matters;
- Support Tax Manager and Tax Director in all the actual and new specific Tax Department initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or University degree) in accounting, finance or tax;
- Good understanding of accounting and legal environment is necessary;
- Excellent English written and verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German, French or Luxembourgish would be an advantage;
- Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) are necessary;
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Luxembourg tax compliance, preferably in an accounting or tax advisory firm with international environment;
- Luxembourg complementary tax exams or “Expert Comptable” title would be an asset;
- You are analytical, eager to learn and motivated by challenge;
- You demonstrate extraordinary commitment to provide excellent service, self-initiative and team spirit;
- You have good organization skills.
