Job Purpose:

This job role will be working closely with the Manager/Senior Manager to manage and perform all the required legal administrative service line related work for the Capital Markets & SPV department and trust related matters in daily operations efficiency and productivity, driving performance and maintaining client relationships.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, drafting and vetting of various legal documents, agreements, contracts, trust deeds, etc.
  • To do all necessary steps including monitoring, reviewing and advising the client and the Manager/Senior Manager on compliance with the terms of the trust deed or any other transaction documents and provisions of the law at all times.
  • Assist the Manager/Senior Manager with the preparation, vetting and reviewing of proposals, correspondences, meeting papers, required transaction documents including agreements, contracts, trust deeds etc. as may be necessary.
  • Provide a high quality administrative service to a portfolio of client structures with timeliness and efficiency.
  • Maintain network of intermediary relationships, including tax and legal advisory firms, asset managers, as well as accountants, bankers and other advisors.
  • Maintain a good relationships with clients and provide operational teams with customer feedback on pricing, service and quality improvements 
  • Work closely with Manager/Senior Manager to provide advices in relation to local business and Group compliance standard including pre, during and post stages for trustee’s services.
  • Keep track of new legal and fiscal developments, anticipate changes in legislation and translate this into opportunities for the group.
  • Attend to client’s or related parties’ (including professional advisors, regulators, investors or beneficiaries) enquiries, including face-to-face meetings, when needed.
  • Communicate and liaise with clients on any matters related to the portfolios including changes in the terms of service or new service requirements.
  • Manage all stakeholders’ expectation in professional manner.
  • Prepare periodic or ad-hoc reports, including required trustee report, annual covenant report, compliance report, regulatory report, and ensure that such report is delivered as scheduled
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed following the proper process and procedure including the internal standard operating procedures, systems, manuals and policies.
  • Act as the bank authorised signatory for bank accounts managed on behalf of the clients, verify and execute any required instructions related to the bank accounts in prudent manner.
  • Perform any other business and operation functions as the management may see fit.

 

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Law / Business and Law / Accounting and Law with at least 2-3 years working experience in private trust or debt capital markets execution background
  • Preferably candidates from finance industry or trust company
  • Strong drafting and legal analyzing skills
  • Client focused and customer sensitive service behavior
  • Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, positive disposition, initiative, high integrity and able to work under strict deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player, yet able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of spoken and written English skills.
