Discover the role:

The Legal Consultant will be part of a growing department, providing legal expertise and support in an international context to both our customers and the Payroll department for matters relating to labour law, social security and payroll.
You would be joining a warm and engaged team and would be the first legal profile.
ogether with the Manager you will set out the lines for legal services within the department and are supported by a mid-level and admin profile.

 

Key responsibility:

  • You are first point of contact for our customers and the team for all questions related to labour & social security law, HRP matters, sectoral regulation, ….;
  • You support our customers with all sorts of legal documents in French, Dutch and English to answer their needs (work regulations, employment agreements, policies,…);
  • You are responsible for keeping legal information for our team and customers up-to-date and see this as a priority;
  • You give internal and external training and seminars on social law items;
  • You execute business strategy in line with guidance set out by management;
  • You report your activities for billing purposes in a timely manner.

 

Job specific requirements:

  • Dutch / French mother tongue with solid knowledge of the other language;
  • Professional proficiency in English;
  • Master in law,specialized in labour/social law or Rechtspraktijk (Paralegal) and specialized in labour/social law or equivalent by professional experience;
  • Min. 5-7 years of relevant experience;
  • Well organised and can cope with deadlines;
  • Builds strong relationships, commercial awareness.
