Scope:
This role will be reporting to the Team Lead. Work closely with Team Lead for clients’ corporate secretarial and relevant regulatory compliance services in various jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters for clients’ SPVs/ pre-IPO (red chip/VIE structure)/USD fund structure including but not limited to entities formation, ad-hoc change, liquidation, annual return filing in various jurisdictions (mainly in BVI, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong) under senior staff's guide
Assist in preparing and completing required regulatory compliance filing/reporting to SPVs/pre-IPO (red chip/VIE structure)/USD fund structure including but not limited to Economic Substance Notification/Reporting, regulated license application and annual filing, Overseas Direct Investment Filing, Decree 37 filing, etc. in various jurisdictions (mainly in BVI, Cayman Islands, China)
Daily internal and external communication/cooperation with clients, other teams/departments, business partners and regulatory body if required
Assist in managing and maintaining client databases and other tracking tools
Conduct regular research regarding changes/updates to local/international laws and regulations
Perform other duties expected for the role
Experiences & Skills
Bachelor degree, accounting, finance or legal major is preferable
Ideally 1 to 2 years in professional firm/CPA firm/law firm/multinational company, fresh graduate is also welcomed
Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements of SPVs/pre-IPO structure, familiar with ODI/Decree 37/Decree 7 Equity Incentive Plan practices in China with relevant experiences will be a distinct advantage
Good English language skills in both written and oral communication
Good computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Meticulous attention to fine detail and able to work in tight deadlines and multi tasks
A self-starter with strong motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
