As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.
At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or hybrid from the office in Katowice.
Key responsibilities
Prepare (consolidated) financial statements, balance sheets and annual reports as well as client-specific reports, based on Dutch GAAP and, if needed, IFRS
Compile, enter and post monthly journal entries.
Generate and administer accounting procedures and ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with local legislation and policies of the client
Set-up and maintain computerized administrations and/or financial databases
Prepare reporting to third parties, e.g. Chamber of Commerce, Dutch Central Bank, Tax Authorities and other relevant parties
Adequately keep up with (client) activities and refer them to trusted third parties, to tighten the relationship with such parties, also enabling increased business opportunities for TMF Group as a whole.
Act as financial, accounting and tax contact of the team, and as first point of contact for financial, accounting and tax questions of the team, especially in relation to complex clients, structures and key clients.
Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, notaries and other involved parties in order to obtain the required information for reporting purposes
Interact with external auditors in completing audits
Act as first point of contact for clients, and third party contacts of clients (such as auditors and tax advisors)
Key Requirements
You dispose a financial-administrative degree (e.g. Bachelor or Master degree in economics, ACCA certification or equivalent) or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience.
You dispose of preferably a minimum of 2 + years relevant working experience.
Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles such as Dutch GAAP is desirable and affinity with IFRS
You dispose of thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and cost control principles.
You dispose of good knowledge and experience in the use of accounting related programs and aps, Caseware and Dynamics (nice to have)
Excellent business English written and verbal communications skills.
Good communication skills coupled with the ability to liaise with people internationally, through spoken and written channels and at all levels.
