Key responsibilities
Understand the importance of revenue, productivity, chargeability and the client relationship and effectively apply this understanding to daily tasks.
Responsible for delivering specified deliverables, (see below) to low complexity clients in accordance with internal and external deadlines
Ensure appropriate controls, policies, processes and procedures are adhered to
Escalate client/work issues to Supervisor/Manager
Assist other members of the team as appropriate
Collect appropriate data from clients and input into database as required
Report to senior team members and/ or managers as required
Answer questions in a timely manner
Various other miscellaneous tasks as instructed from time to time
Support clients with service delivery matters
Assist client meetings, as required
Prepare client work in accordance with procedures
Work with clients to ensure required data is received in good time
Prepare and submit approved returns, submissions, accounts, reports etc. as applicable
Liaise with tax authorities and other TMF offices on technical issues
Use specific software programs and maintain databases as required
Stay informed about and ensure compliance with the applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll procedures.

Key knowledge and experience
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. <1yr Prior experience in payroll or accounting is preferred, Understand basic payroll processing, deductions and regulatory submissions
Familiarity with payroll/HR software, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook preferred
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, coordination and organizational skills
Ideally you are meeting following hiring criteria:
Bachelor's degree in accounting;
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be advantageous.
At least 1 year of previous working experience as a Payroll Accountant is preferred; however, we are also welcoming young professionals with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and good analytical acumen to apply on the job.
Proficiency in using MS Excel;
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines;
Excellent communications skills to interact with clients and explain payroll related matters effectively;
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders
